I have been trying to clean up the studio so that I can actually see what I have! It is trully amazing what I have and yet, I feel the need for more. However (and that is a huge However), what with the economy (blah, blah, blah...is anyone else REALLY tired of talking about that), I have to cut back and try to use what I have. In fact, that idea is one of my new years resolutions for 2010. When I need or want something, I try to figure out if it is something I can make, borrow, or rig rather than buy. I will have some upcoming posts to show some of the projects already completed this year - nothing spectacular but it feels good to use some old fashioned problem solving skills and come up with something useful and not too bad to look at.One of the things I have been wanting is a set of bins to go in my shelf seen in this picture. It just felt jumbled and disorganized. Sometimes just a little rearranging can go a long way. I also added some bins that were in other parts of the house and labeled all of them with old tags. It feels totally new to me. Ahhh...
Next project - My 14 month old son started preschool (okay, really it is just daycare but it sounds so much nicer when they call it preschool). Of course I have to take his sippy cup every day and they want us to buy some of those rubber-bandy type things with the child's name on them. They are not very expensive, maybe $20 or so but it just seems like something I could solve on my own...hmmm.
